Adiasha Richards attended Stony Brook University where she studied Psychology (BA) and minored in Child and Family Studies. She received her Masters in Mental Health Counseling (MS, ED) from Long Island University Brooklyn. Adiasha has interned and worked in private practice since 2011. Adiasha’s wide clinical experience over the past 5 years includes working with clients from many racial and ethnic backgrounds, ages, religions, disabilities, gender, and sexual orientations. Some of her clinical work experience includes working at New York Foundling providing family therapy to high-risk adolescents, Goodwill Industries Psychosocial Clubhouse for those with mental illness, SCO Family of Services with the developmentally disabled population, counselor for formerly homeless and mentally ill at Goddard Riverside Center and providing individual and family therapy to adults and adolescents at Rosa Beltre Counseling.  Currently Adiasha Richards is a Clinical Director of an Evidence Based Program at Sheltering Arms Children and Family Services and owner of Growth and Transitions Counseling.
