Everywhere you look, everyone has their shit together except you. And you you’re just surviving life, going with the motions, unhappy, unsatisfied, feeling like unused potential. You feel stuck, your career isn’t where you want it to be and your romantic life is always unstable. Then you remember the traumas of your life, thoughts of those deep issues, you know the ones that go back to childhood. Those issues that have gotten worse over years, that you pretend don’t affect you but you know they do. Emotionally unavailable parents, abuse, rape, unstable chaotic childhood environment, raising yourself and your siblings. They have left you numb, guarded, defensive, anxious and triggered. The ones that make it hard to love and be loved, hard to connect, hard to succeed. You know you can do better, there has to be more to life than just surviving this shit. Everyone is talking about do your work, find inner peace, posting positive quotes, but what the hell is that, how do you do your work?
